If you could be...

Re: If you could be...
I think I would choose to be Jill. She is a very interesting character, who I think matures a lot from SC to LB. By the end of her time in Narnia she is brave, smart, and adventurous, but also very sensitive towards others.
Aravis would be my second choice, I think. She has such an amazing story! And she has a lot of the same qualities as Jill (though I don't think I can say that she is sensitive towards others!)

Re: If you could be...
I would like to be either Jill or Polly. I like how Polly is always ready for adventure. Both are kind and smart, but they aren't perfect, either. Polly rang that bell in Charn that woke Jadis (I think that's what happened, but I haven't read MN in a while...), and Jill forgot the signs. This, I think, makes them more interesting people, and I think it would be cool to be either of them .

I would be Ramandu's daughter so I would marry and spend my whole life with Caspian and know a goodbye would never come and speak with the king in his cabin anytime I want.... haha not really, I just love teasing Suspian's. No offense
I'd be Jill Pole because well I'm like her in many ways.

Re: If you could be...
I'd have to say Jill. I relate to her the most out of all the characters!
If I was a guy then Prince Rilian - he had a weird life but it turned out good in the end... and he almost visited Bism!!!
And if I was a narnian then I would be the unicorn in LB (I think the name was Jewel but I can't really remember!)

Girl: Lucy or Jill, can't decide. Two wonderful strong female characters.
Boy: Peter! Favourite character!
Narnian: One of those Mer-people, I love water.

If I were a guy I would be Edmund. I love his redemption and his faith and courage and humor. I am a lot like Lucy and Eustace already, so I would pick Edmund.

Re: If you could be...
I think it would be fun to be Jill in the movie because it would be challenge. You would get to horseback ride, act, fight, do archery and learn how they make a movie, travel and do so many neat things! It would also be a ton of work though and so much would rely on you. But if I could be anyone as if i were really in the book i would want to be someone who stayed there a long time. Maybe Aravis because she goes on a great adventure. Really anyone I guess!
With a pen in my hand and my bow at my side I shall fight all darkness.

Oh my word, this is so hard. Guy: definitely Edmund. No competition there.
Girls: Aravis or Jill. I'm actually a direct opposite of all three of those characters (who are, shall we say, feisty and aggressive) but I really like them!
Narnian: Goodness and sweetness and mercy and light!* Need you even ask? I would be a Naiad, for sure!!!
*A line from Aunt Matilda in The Three Investigators, a series by Alfred Hitchcock (no, it's not the Alfred Hitchcock, it's his identical cousin... OF COURSE IT'S THE ALFRED HITCHCOCK!!!!!!)

Re: If you could be...
I say, isn't it interesting how certain topics are repeatedly brought up? And how others are ignored completely?
What I mean is, seeing this thread reminded me of a post I once made on the old forum. It was in a thread very much like this one. You can find that whole discussion here.
Here is the relevant part of my original post (which you can find on page 2 of the thread linked to above):
I'm sure there are reasons I could (or would like to be) any of them. (except the villians, don't wanna be them ) But the long and short of it is this:
Even though a girl, I too would want to be Edmund. First off, I really relate to him anyway. Second, as tough as things were for him...as ashamed as he must have felt...I'd much rather live out his story. Why? Because I love the journey. Sure he majorly screwed up at first, but who doesn't? What he learned from it, and became afterwards...it's just amazing. And if reaching that point of understanding, compassion, devotion, etc can only be reached by going through the bad points? So be it. Because in the long run I'd rather learn the lesson and grow from it than to not grow much at all.
Another way to look at that last sentence: I wouldn't want to be "lukewarm" about Narnia. Either you're in or you're out. You can't wholeheartedly do both. If it was you during LB, would you wanna be left behind? Or with all those you loved in an unimaginablely cool place? Just think on it.
Hope that answered your question!
