Re: Shasta/Cor and Corin
I think the twins should be played by one actor if they're going to be identical. If they just look very similar, then they could be played by twins, or just boys who look a lot like each other. But since Edmund thinks Shasta is Corin, they should be identical.

Re: Shasta/Cor and Corin
But if Cor and Corin are identical, then that gives the hole plot away instantly!

Re: Shasta/Cor and Corin
They don't have to be exactly alike, but both Edmund and King Lune think Shasta is Cor when they first see him. Besides, it's obvious that they must be related as soon as Cor climbs in the window. Even if you aren't really thinking about it, the plot is a give away. Shasta knows he's from up north and has no clue who his father is, King Edmund thinks he's the prince of Archenland, King Lune(his father!) thinks Shasta is Cor when he runs up with the news, the audience will know, or at least they will suspect it.

I think with the fact we have parent trap movies out there, the audience would figure it out. I am still going for twins.

That would be great, so long as they are not exactly identical.

Re: Shasta/Cor and Corin
I agree with you, Eustace--Twins. Exactly identical twins, I vote, or something very close. If Corin's own father could mistake the two, then no doubt they are very, very, close to being identical. And I don't really think that the audience it supposed to be surprised at the fact they turn out to be brothers--it's very obvious, much like finding out that the Black Knight in SC is Rilian.
Plus--and I've made this argument before, though no one listens to me--It would be much easier on the actor(s) if the parts were played by two boys rather than one.
I think both brothers should have fair hair, and I always imagined them with brown eyes. Cor, of course, will be darker than Corin.

Re: Shasta/Cor and Corin
Well if there is 1 actor you can propbly make him look diffrent when you shoot scenes with Corin...but i honstaly think Shasta and Corin should be played with 1 actor... like the parent trap

But in "The Parent Trap", it's supposed to be obvious from the get-go that the girls are related. This is different; there's a note of mystery here. Oh, and I like the idea of fair hair and brown eyes, ChristProclamer.

Re: Shasta/Cor and Corin
Umm, I like the idea of there being some mystery, Dernhelm_of_Rohan, but I just don't see how thats possible. As daughter of the king said Shasta knows he's from up north and than all of the sudden King Ed mistakes hem for Corin who just happens to have a missing twin(we don't know this yet but come on...). I really don't think the plot will be too mysterious. Up until Tashbaan it's pretty mysterious, he doesn't know who he is or to whom he belongs, but as soon as we get there things start to fall into place.
Identical twins would be good since Shasta has to fool all the Narnian court, but semi identical would be fine too. Blonde hair and brown eyes sound good but I always thought of Shasta having these steady grey green eyes.

I saw the movie....and was disappointed
