Re: Polly Plummer
In my mind, the perfect Polly would be played by Bailee Madison. Unfortunately, she's an American, so that's not happening. Thus, I delved into the sea of child actresses on IMDB and came up with two young British performers:
Ramona Marquez: Born in 2001. She appeared in The King's Speech recently. If MN were filmed in 2013, she'd be 12.

Adrianna Bertola: Born in 1999. If MN were filmed in 2013, she'd be 14. And she already loves Narnia...

Just some ideas.

I love the idea of Ramona Marquez but Adrianna Bertola looks completely different to how I imagined Polly...........she is blonde in my head.

Re: Polly Plummer
I see Polly as a complete opposite to all other Narnia girl charactors cast so far! I see her a fairly short, strawberry blonde hair that is long and wavy and big baby blue eyes. Very prim English girl style! and maybe 13-13?
And as far as films go, Jill should be an absolute opposite to her looks wise! I don't like it when they cast two characters one after eachother and it just looks like one is the replacement for the last!

Good suggestion Riella. I think she would make a great Polly.

Yeah, I can see her as Polly, if she curled her hair etc... and she's English so that works!

Re: Polly Plummer
It's really interesting to me how many people envision Polly with curls... though the actual color varies.
@ChristProclaimer, I like both of your suggestions quite a lot. Interestingly enough, even though I would prefer Polly as a redhead first and a blonde second, I REALLY like the look of Adrianna Bertola. She's very striking imho.
Has Rosie Taylor-Ritson been mentioned yet? Here are a couple pics.

I agree with you 100%. Susan was beautiful, but I think Polly should be very prim and proper. She gets in trouble for coming home with wet stockings after all. And while this is also slightly off topic, I also love how you also think Jill should be the opposite side of the coin. I also envision Jill as rather tom-boyish and a bit rough and tumble.CharlotteRose wrote:I see Polly as a complete opposite to all other Narnia girl charactors cast so far! ... Makeup and hairstyling can do wonders, so maybe Molly would look awesome as Polly, but based on the picture you posted, all I can see is Jill.Ithilwen wrote:What about Molly Windsor?

Re: Polly Plummer
I was just thinking about her! She has a really unique timeless look and although she is a little older I think she'd be really good, as her performance in Nanny McPhee 2 was excellent!
I see what you mean. She has a Jill air (is that the right type oh air? ) about her, but appearence wise i'd still say Polly!

Oh, I really like Adrianna Bertola! Except for the Hair color and texture (which can be easily fixed) she's Perfect! Molly Windsor looks really good too. I think anyone who plays Polly should have a baby-faced look, but not really chubby or anything.

Oh yeah, I could totally picture her as Polly. Definitely has the prim and proper look about her.

Re: Polly Plummer
I kinda imagined her as being more grown-up looking than Lucy or Jill; but not quite as much as Susan. She was always more 11 or 12 in my mind. But even a narrow-faced child would do. Oh! I've envisioned her like the illustrations of Mary from The Secret Garden illustrations by Tasha Tudor (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Wk7WIBpZWgs/S ... CN2462.JPG) compare with Pauline Baynes: (http://images.wikia.com/narnia/images/5 ... wcover.jpg).
I like Rosie Taylor-Ritson, but just for looks, I've never seen her act.

Molly Windsor looks like the perfect Polly! If they add more body to hair she'd be set to play her.

I love molly's looks too! Innocent like I imagined her!
Rosie looks like a good Polly too the only thing is that I imagine her hair a lighter blonde.

Re: Polly Plummer
I like Rosie (in the picture with the lighter, curly hair). Nice for an older (like 12 maybe) Polly instead of a younger (like 9). I think 12 works for the story; she's definitely not a woman yet ans still very much little girl (I think she's sort of Tom-boyish, actually) but she is old enough to be brave and audiences can relate for to her than if she was younger.
