I`m stepping back to Susan`s character in the Last Battle for a bit. It`s a interesting display of foreboding seeing this picture with everyone wearing Narnia clothes but Susan. It gives a nice visual sense of what is to come. However the character placement seems off. Peter should be standing closer while Susan is far away. This may be old news but I just wanted to post it.

Maybe Peter is farther away caust he has a significantly small part than the other kids.....so they put him off to the distance.

How old did Anna turn on her birthday?

Also does anyone know if she has any more films coming up?

The hardest of the kids to play I think was Susan. I actually think Anna was the best because she had the hardest role. She in my opinoin was the most complicated character that CS Lewis created. She was a child yet not a child, she wanted to be a kid but had to be a mother, she wanted to be beautiful but was still in that awkward stage, then she has to portray someone of immense beauty. She had to be loyal to Narnia yet distant. Meaning, she had to long for it, yet part of her not. I know i made no sense there but I think Anna did the best portraying what Lewis meant for them to be.

I think so too!
Anna is a realy good actress, especially in Prince Caspian! I was quite glad that she had a cameo in Voyage of the Dawntreader, and she looks really pretty! I think it is good that familiar characters have cameos so that once they leave to books story they are not completely forgotten.
Narnia is childhood...

I just checked Anna's costar Tyler Blackburn's twitter and he posted on the 28th that that was the first day of filming on set for Brave New World (The pilot episode) So I would imagine that by Friday or Saturday episode one would be done filming.

Also Anna Popplewell's name on the show has been confirmed it's "Maura Taft"

I cant wait for this show to come out!

Brave New World is a workplace comedy that follows a group of unusual characters at Pilgrim Village, a theme park that specializes in recreations of New England in 1637.

I know i shouldn't double post but I wanted people to see this so here is a new picture of Anna someone posted on twitter on the set of Brave New World:

^ That is a very pretty close up and picture! :)

I have some bad news concerning Brave New World. The main network NBC did not pick it up so we wont be seeing Anna in that tv series unless the production has another company check it out. :(

um...question?

How can they have the actors, costumes, sets, and everything...and no company to broadcast the show!?! That's just odd. I mean, when they start shooting...don't they know which channel is going to host it? Or do companies bid for the rights or something?

Once a network decides that they're interested in a show, the production has to put a pilot together before the deal is finalized. If they don't like the pilot, the network can walk away. Sometimes, they call for changes and a new pilot is made, but often they just drop the show altogether.

I think Anna was (and is) a fabulous Susan! Susan was always my least favorite charactor in the books (out of the four children) but watching Anna really made me love Susan, too, and really feel bad for her when she changes and becomes unbelieving! Hopefully, they will end up making all the Narnia books into movies, because I will love seeing Anna as Susan in HaHB! She'd be great in that one! Yea Anna for the TV show!
