White Witch in VotDT

So as most of you know, the White Witch appears on one of the VotDT posters. I have a guess for why that is, and you guys can share some of your ideas too.
I'm guessing that she will appear on the Island of Dreams, when Lucy's nightmare of the White Witch killing Aslan comes to life. I'm not sure if that scene will be shown that way, where you can actually see the nightmares coming to life, but that could be a possibility.
Anyway, that's my theory, and if anyone else would like to share their thoughts, I'd be glad to see everyone's ideas on why the White Witch is on the VotDT poster.

She will possibly make a cameo appearance on Dark Island as Lucy's nightmare. I know it was said that Lucy still had nightmares of the night she killed Aslan. The main reason that my sister and I kept thinking about as we saw the banner is that WW is only on it to put a familiar face to get crowds to come back to see the movie but yes I believe that she will have a 10-30 second cameo.

Paul Martin on narniafans confirmed that the White Witch will be in the film for a "dream sequence." We can only assume that would mean Dark Island or something similar.

That is Tilda Swinton on the right side, appearing again as The White Witch. I can tell you right now: do not be alarmed. It’s not a big deal. She doesn’t appear for very long. I’m not sure the screentime but it’s likely to be shorter than in Prince Caspian. It’s for a dream sequence and nothing more.

Yes I wouldn't mind a few second cameo of the WW in VDT, I didn't really mind it in PC either. Just as long as she doesn't come back as LOGK then I'm fine with this.

I'm excited to see how they will do the dream scene... I have a vague idea of what it will look like, but I'm looking forward to how it will really be in the movie. I can't wait for the movie!

She could be hiring the pirates or the slavers!
She could turn Eustace into a dragon!
She could make the water in deathwater turn things to gold!
She could be trying to steal the magician's book!
She could be the sea serpent!
She could be disguising herself as Ramandu's Daughter!

Or...
She could be part of the crew!

But as for me, I'm going with the dream sequence on the dark island theory.

I still hope the dream is with Lucy, I wouldn't mind if Edmund had it but Lucy seems to be an easier target because she is one that was already described in still having nightmares of the WW.

All joking aside, I am joining the discussion. I just listened to Focus on the Family's Radio Theater version of VDT, and I loved how they subtly played back part of the Stone Table scene during the Nightmare Island sequence. Something like that would be good, I think - subtle, yet chilling.

There is, of course, the possibility that she will not come into the movie at all. The movie poster looks a little cheap--if you notice, Aslan's face is exactly the same as the one on the cover of LWW, and Peter and Susan are not cut out too well. I think that the poster could be just a quick slap-together, and that a real, better one will be coming out later. Maybe they didn't have enough cool pics from the movie to make a better one, so they put together a bunch of other cool pics. It's just a supposition...that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the poster.

If the dream sequence is going to be of the Stone Table, they could just use a clip from LWW itself, couldn't they? That's what I'd prefer, anyways, rather than resurrecting the WW up again with a whole new appearance. I wonder what exactly Jadis will be doing in the dream...
