Great Pics of the Cast

Alrighty! Here we go with a new thread! It has been awhile since this thread has been opened and I want to post a strong reminder right up front. If you find a picture that looks like it was taken by a friend or is in someone's home, then it will be removed. Pictures like that invade the actors' privacy and are not meant for the public even if they are on the internet.

If they are from a public appearance or off a movie set, then those pictures are just fine.


Now for the rules for the thread...



We will be closing the thread at 25 pages.

Here are some other things to consider before you post your lovely pics:

- Please do not post more than 3 images or links per post.

- Please don't post a picture more than once, even if it was posted quite a few pages back. Check that the picture you are posting hasn't been posted before. If it has been, your post will be removed.

- This is a thread for publicity shots of the cast from the Narnia movies — so we want pictures from premieres, interviews, etc. and not screencaps from either of the films or pages from any of the books!

ANY IMAGES OF A PERSONAL NATURE WILL BE REMOVED.


- Do not quote other people's pictures in your post. This creates double the load for the server, and makes the page load more slowly for those on dial-up. Instead of quoting, link back to the image you want to comment on, or address the member who posted it (example: "NarnianFan, I really like the picture you posted of Georgie!").

- There is a picture of Anna in a green dress that we ask people not to post here on the forum. A good rule of thumb when it comes to pics of the cast in evening wear is if it is a sleeveless dress or a dress with straps, it is likely that the neckline is too low. In other words, anything that might be too revealing(male or female), please do not post those pictures. If in doubt, you can PM a moderator first.

To Resize a Picture:

For a PC...

Save the image to your computer
Open it using Microsoft Office Picture Manager (If you double click wherever you save the image, it probably will automatically open using that program.
Under the Picture menu at the top there are several options you can either type in a specific pixel size under Resize or use the crop option to cut the photo down yourself.

If you want to use Paint to resize it...

Open the image in Paint
Go to Image
Click on Attributes
Make sure that pixels is selected and then insert the number of pixels into the boxes.

I couldn't find too many of Anna, since I was apprehensive about the off-the-shoulder dresses and such. Though I suppose it's pretty relative...

*EDIT: Oh! I just realized: Are photoshoot pictures of the cast allowed? It would be sometimes tricky to determine what is part of a photoshoot with a photographer as part of publicity and what is a personal picture taken.... Should we focus mainly on premiere shots?

Follower--hey, first post! And in answer to your question, I would think photoshoots, as long as they are professional, are fine. As kat said above, personaly pics that look as though they could be taken by friends, or in the actor's homes or something...not good. If you aren't sure about some, feel free to PM them to us for our opinions.

I don't know who all visits fansites on a regular basis, but this past week all of a sudden, there are new pictures all over the place.

Yes I too want to see a recent photo of Skandar. There were pictures of Anna at some event like 2 or 1 month ago on a fan website. We'll see pics of Anna soon I bet because she's currently filming a movie called Hanna at the moment.
