Has anyone else seen this? A talent competition with a difference was held to find a group of five children/teens who have a parent or sibling currently serving with the British Armed Services.
The Poppy Girls will sing at a fundraising concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. (incidentally the place where the London premiere of The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe was held).

“Not all of us can choose what we give up. The things we love are taken or are never ours at all. If we’re lucky, life is defined not by what we let go, but what we let in: friendship and kind words, frailty and hope.”

It turned up serendipitously on Facebook, when one of my UK contacts shared it. She probably had no idea of its Narnia connection, nor its importance to me.
