Borrowing from Narnia.....
Ben Barnes said that they film makers are borrowing parts of other Narnia books for VotDT. at first, I was disturbed by this piece of news, wondering what it could mean. but then I realised that there are other parts that have been 'borrowed'!
in PC, during the duel with Peter and Miraz, Peter asks Edmund, "I wonder what happens back home if we die here?"
this line was derived right from The Last Battle! in the book of LB, when Eustace and Jill are following Tirian and the rest to the stable, Eustace asks Jill almost the same thing that Peter asked Edmund!
has anyone else noticed anything from PC or LWW that was borrowed from any of the other books?
what do ya'll think?

You're right! I remember noticing that and thinking, "Oh, they're going to wish they had saved that for Last Battle." I really don't think you can repeat a line like that. And it was a good one. So they will have to think of something else for that scene in Last Battle, now. Too bad. Though they did at least put it in a good spot in PC.
Sorry, at the moment I can't think of any other borrowings.

LFGR? Do you mean in LWW? *Looks it up* Oh right, it is. Those are the LWW initials in Portuguese. Pretty cool. Yeah, I remember that. Also, I believe I read Andrew Adamson saying that they shot the movie in chronological order so that the kids' aging process would look natural, since "Narnian air makes them so much older." I read that and thought, "Yeah, in PC, when they've already been there before. Not when it's their first visit." BUT that is just a nitpick.

Re: Borrowing from Narnia.....
Actually, they didn't "borrow" anything from that one. The professor, the wardrobe and the lampost were all on the original LWW book, despite their being in MN as well.
There wasn't any "borrowing" as far as I remember (but I've been wrong before).

As long as they don't "borrow" the LOTGK from The Silver Chair, and put her in VODT I'll be good.

In LWW they borrowed the idea of a cool centaur general from PC.
"Let the music cast its spell,
give the atmosphere a chance.
Simply follow where I lead;
let me teach you how to dance."
