JUST the Positives

Hey, everyone. Lately... well, for a long time now, we've been so worried about so many things about the upcoming film, VDT. I thought it would be a breath of fresh air to just have a topic where we can mention all, and ONLY, the positives about this film, that we know of as of yet. No fears, no rumors, no worrisome speculations, no worries.

Here some I've been thinking of:

First of all, Voyage of the Dawn Treader is being made!!!!! They're filming right now!!!! WOO HOOOO!!!!!!!! It's about time.

DUDE, the Dawn Treader ROCKS! It looks grand and even has a purple sail! It's like it jumped out of the book.

Same actors portraying returning characters. I like continuity like that, even if I don't care for an actor or actress much. Thankfully I really like Georgie and Skandar very well.

Same voice actors returning to voice their respective characters.

Fox and Walden supposedly do own the older score themes from the first two films. Another form of continuity that's important to me.

Trumpkin and Dr. Cornelius will NOT be on the voyage.

Susan and Peter won't return to Narnia.

As of right now, we know that the Lone Islands, the dufflepuds and magician, the Dark Island, Ramandu and his daughter, and the sea people will appear in the film!

They are still searching for the seven lords and still sailing to the worlds end!

Eustace is still going to turn into a dragon!

And to top it all off, they are not making the abomination that was the leaked script!!!!!!!

(Please correct me if anything is incorrect or still really confirmed, thanks)

Wow! That's quite a list, and I completely agree! (Especially with the continuity thing, I'm TOTALLY like that. I want it to stand out as a great film, but still match (not the word I mean, but I can't think of anything better...flow? maybe flow..) flow with my first two DVDs.)

I'd also like to add that we have a new director! Which at first the whole continuity thing got to me, but I'm looking forward to a fresh idea of Narnia!

Second, some of the crew that I liked from the first two films is also staying for VDT, which is very exciting! (continuity! xD)

True, I was going to add new director/crew originally but wasn't sure yet if that was a positive. I wasn't too happy hearing that originally..... Until I watched PC.
Then the idea of a new director sounded ok.
Anyway, the same could be said with FOX. FOX may not be Disney, but it may be very good for this franchise.

and just think: when we where waiting for PC, there wasn't any video or much info on the film at all until the teaser trailer came out! we should all be grateful that we are able to see all the video and all the pictures that are coming out, not to metion all the info on the cast!!!!!

lol I'm just glad the Dawn Treader looks good and everyone likes it It's rather disheartening when news comes out and everyone dies from shock.

Other than that I don't really know much of what is going on, except RD looks good.

The excellence of the design crew as evidenced by their fabulous rendering of the Dawn Treader herself has really encouraged me. We can expect good things from the team. I'm looking forward to seeing the sets of Ramandu's Island and the halls of Lone Islands. The vision they had in creating the ship has upped my expectations in all areas.

Dawn treader is awesome!!!!!!! I'm really glad for the pictures, vidoes and new every day!!!!!! I think the new director will be okay....( I liked Andrew ) but I still think he'd do great. I LOVE the looks of the actors. Ben's hair is awesome and Georgie looks more grown up! The ship is BEAUTIFUL!!! I never expected it to look so nice!!!!! I can't wait for the music, and the adaptaions from the book don't bother me at all! I can't wait for the battles and EVERYTHING!!! SAIL ON VOTD!!!!!!

I'm getting really excited now that filming is almost done!!! it's great that the movie's even being made AT ALL!

I'm pretty happy to know for sure that the sea serpent is in the movie, that they didn't ditch him in favor of more dragon attacks.
Also, the "Falling all over the decks" quote is quite promising!

I must say that it is a positive thing to think about the fact that not only is VotDT being made but it is in post-production! yay! soon (if you call a year soon. Aslan calls all times soon!) the movie will be in theaters!!
that is as positive as you can get!

Wait! VoDT isn't in post-production for 3 more days! Or so I thought. But once it is, that is another step to being complete and in theaters!

I'm glad that Will seems so good in his role from what we've seen!
