Add a Tad

Welcome back to a game we haven't played in quite a while: Add a Tad!
The first person starts with a sentence and the next person posts that sentence, but makes a small change to it (as shown below in the example).
RULES:
1. Changes can be replacing a few words, adding a few words, or deleting a few words.
2. They should not be big changes and the sentence should still make grammatical sense, but other than that, the resulting sentence can be as random as you want.
3. General forum rules apply.
EXAMPLE:
Person 1: "A bank robber gave my chiropractor a bone."
Person 2: "A bank robber gave my chiropractor a walrus bone."
Person 3: "A bank gave my chiropractor a walrus bone."
Person 4: "A bank gave C.S. Lewis's chiropractor a walrus bone."
Person 5: "A bank gave C.S. Lewis's acupuncturist a walrus bone."etc.
I'll start us off:
The conference room was full of bored students and happy bakers.
