Some days you battle yourself and other monsters.
Some days you just make soup.
Some days you just make soup.

Gelibolu, Turkey, otherwise known as Gallipoli, where today it was New Zealand's turn to officiate at Anzac Day commemorations at Anzac Cove, with Australian and Turkish representatives. Whilst over in Villers-Bretonneux, the French Prime Minister and Prince Charles, along with Australian notables, officiated at the 100th anniversary of an Australian WW1 victory on 25th April, 1918. At nearby Le Hamel, there are also USA, UK and Canadian flags which fly at the WW1 memorial.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them. Lest we forget.

“Not all of us can choose what we give up. The things we love are taken or are never ours at all. If we’re lucky, life is defined not by what we let go, but what we let in: friendship and kind words, frailty and hope.”
