Fortunately/Unfortunately

This new game is pretty straightforward. Here's how it goes:

Person 1: Unfortunately, I have a cold.
Person 2: Fortunately, you've got medicine!
Person 3: Unfortunately, the medicine is expired
Person 4: Fortunately, when you take it, you develop superpowers!
Person 5: Unfortunately, your super power is the ability to smell like a skunk

And so on and so forth.

General forum rules apply.
Also, please refrain from using copyrighted characters at any point in this game.

I'll start things off:

Unfortunately, it's hot outside today.

Unfortunately, you were so excited about this fact that you hosted a pizza party with fancy appetizers for all your friends and you ended up spending WAY more than you should have.
