Re: Three Questions 2PP
2. Water is the most important substance on the Earth, since all life depends on it. Water vapour, and Water's two elements, Hydrogen and Oxygen, are three of the main constituents of the atmosphere. 70% of the surface of Earth is water, but much of this water is saline. A water cycle interchanging fresh water from the atmosphere via rain and snow into rivers, lakes etc, and back again into the atmosphere, ensures that there is enough water for life. Most life forms consist of substantial masses of water, and need more water to survive. Without water the whole planet would die.

3. WHAT 'test' did Penelope use to show Odysseus was who he said he was? Penelope got all her suitors to try to string Odysseus' bow and send an arrow through twelve axe shafts. Only Odysseus, disguised as a beggar, could do this, but Penelope, still not sure of who he was, then ordered her servant to move the bed in her wedding chamber, which only Odysseus, who had made that bed to include a living tree, knew could not be done. His protests then revealed who he was.
