I still sometimes get freaked out by the dark (don't judge me) and when I'm alone in the dark I instantly think about all the scary movies I've seen and stuff like that. But then when I turn on the lights I realize how silly it is to be freaked out. It reminds me every time of when the crew of the Dawn Treader was in the Dark Island and they were all panicking, but once they escaped they all realized that there was nothing to worry about, really.
