Jimmy Stewart is one of my favorite classic film actors; Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and The Shop Around the Corner are two of his films and they're great.

My favorite classic movie is Casablanca; or Aresenic and Old Lace; or Rebecca; or Gaslight--there are too many!!

One suggestion I have is to start with something light-hearted, like "Arsenic and Old Lace".
