Quietly slipping in my entry...I hope you'll still accept it. I got home so very late and here it is now.
My choice pretty much speaks for itself...I think Eustace's transformation is one of the most poignant and true moments of gratefulness we've seen in the films. I kept it simple because we know inside what meaningfulness lies within this scene.
Thanks,
~Quin

Gee, thanks, flam and everyone who voted! I just wanted to come in and say what a wonderful job everyone did here on their submissions and congratulate the rest of the winners.
Mountie! It's lovely! I like how because of the warm, purplish tones of the sunset sky, the profiles of Aslan and Edmund are even more striking. For me that moment is one of the greatest definition of gratefulness!
lon, your Aslan avie is so pretty and bright! The two pictures of Aslan really stand out against the light of the gorgeous blue sky!
Mal, you deserved it! Your avie really reflects on the theme and I love how you chose to make it in black and white. You blended it perfectly and it's just amazing all around! Congrats!
And I second, AslansChild! A Christmas contest would be lovely! (b.t.w I'm so happy to see you used one of the holiday sigs I made )

Re: Gratefulness - Icon Contest - *Results now up!*
Congratulations to MountainFireFlower, lover of narnia, Quinlin, and malkah! Lovely graphics and such moving moments of gratefulness! Nice picks.
Great graphics everyone! Each one is great!
Winterlife, I love the scene of "gratefulness" that you chose. It's so perfect. It's one of my all time favorite scenes, so when I saw your avatar, I loved it.
Tarkheena I love the different pictures you combined into the one little avatar! I have such troubles since the avatars are so small, but you fit in so much detail! Nicely done!
Shastafan and Narnian_Archer, when I first heard about the avatar contest, I wanted to make mine about the sacrifice of Aslan for Edmund, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. You both did a lovely job with what I couldn't figure out!
Wolfloversk I thought it was pretty funny how we both picked Reepicheep's quote for the theme of our avatar.
And to everyone else, it was so cool to see the different instances that everyone chose for the "gratefulness" theme!! It was just so cool.
I've saved everyone's avatar onto my computer (with your username as the name of the file so I won't forget so therefore can give credit if a viewer asks!! ) so it's fun to see them all pop up on my screensaver every once in awhile.
I third the motion for a Christmas graphic contest...could we maybe do a signature or wallie? Just as suggestion...
That's all from me for now!
