First Train Home WP

[Wunderkind_Lucy]

After listening to "First Train Home" by Imogen Heap (she also sings "Can't Take It In"), I was inspired to make this WP. It's about Lucy's feelings as she is going to stay at Eustace's house. She'd rather be on the first train home.

Wow...I really really REALLY love this soooooo much! This is one of the best wallpapers out there. I love the sepia feel. (I listen to Imogen Heap every now and then, she is really talented!)

At first, I wasn't sure if the sepia-tone was going to work, but I think it turned out pretty well.

Very nice! Your font effects are well done, and the overall color works fairly welll. I like your rule of thirds effect and the background pic(s). The only thing I caught was the size of Lu's head in proportion to the jacket: the hair is cut in fine, but her head seems a little small when compared to the rest of her. Just a hint.

Gorgeous Wunderkind_Lucy,!! I love the use of textures and the image blending. Great job making Lu look older! You did a wonderful job! The text is placed nicely and looks perfect. I love the sepia tone and the red glow on the side. This is a wonderufl piece!! Great job!!

As usual, excellent work from you Wunder_Lu! (That rhyme's too! ) The textures and everything just blend together so well. The sepia tone worked really well. Wonderful fonts and text too.

So if it's a photo manipulation is it just her head that's actually hers? And where did you get the photo of her, or rather, her head? Don't know if I've seen it. Oh jokes! Had another look at it and noticed the hat and hair aren't hers. So I probably have! My only cc would be what Follower_of_Aslan said, but you could probably fix that, I imagine.

Wonderful job! And oh, I love the border too. Can I ask where you got your textures from because for some reason I can never find any decent wallie textures.

Yeah, I couldn't get her head quite right. I originally had it a bit bigger, but it was looking weird. I guess that what you get when you do photo manipulations, lol!

Actually, the hat is hers, the hair and the coat are not. The image I used of Lucy is either from the beginning of the movie or the very end.

Here's the sepia texture I used. I find most of my textures both icon-sized and wallpaper-sized on Livejournal. You should try Resource Love. They have a ton of textures there. This one's by spooky_window.
