From the About NarniaWeb page:
NarniaWeb was founded in November 2003 by Tirian (yes, the name’s a pseudonym). It started out as a handful of news stories and a forum, but grew quickly. In March 2004 when the first USA Today ad came out, our traffic jumped to 1,000 visitors a day — and it’s been going up ever since. We had a major redesign in September 2004 and in April 2005 we added the Costume Site as our first affiliate site. In July 2005 we were nominated for ‘Best Movie Fan Site’ at Movies.com (along with the likes of Mugglenet and TheForce.net). In July 2007 and early 2008 the site got some updates, as well as a forum upgrade. In September 2009, NarniaWeb was completely redesigned, from the front page to the forum.
I don't know about you, but I'm everlastingly thankful that NarniaWeb exists. It has enriched my life in so many ways. It was my first forum... after a few days of lurking, I decided I had something to say, and I've never stopped saying it since . I've made so many friends here, and many of these friendships will be lifelong (and eternity-long!). I've been challenged to mature in various ways, from learning to express myself articulately and debate to learning from the godly examples and encouragement of my fellow forum members. I've been here four and a half years and my only regret is that I wasn't here for all six. What a site!
So here is to six years of breaking Narnia news, fantastic forum discussions, great friendships formed here, and just general wonderfulness . Long live NarniaWeb!
