Things that Make Your Day

Oh I love threads like this! It just helps me reflect on my life, and notice the little things that just make my day. Alright, here is a small list of things such as that:

1. Writing really long story pages!! (believe it or not, when I sit down at my computer, bring up word and write down pages and pages on a fan fiction, reflect on it and it's good..it just makes my day )

2. Talking with my BEST friend. (She is just so special to me...it makes my day to talk to her)

3. Watching Prince Caspian. (That's always makes my day)

4. Spending time with my Family (I have a big family...and when we sit down at the dinner table and laugh and tell jokes, tell stories and talk....it just makes the whole day)

5. Reading a great book

There is just a few things.

1. Notifications on Facebook (pretty much what Val said, lol.)/comments on my blog
2. When the person at Starbucks fills my empty cup with whipped cream for free.
3. When a random book I picked turns out to be real heart-warming.
4. Finishing my work before noon.
5. Reading
6. Writing
7. Grocery shopping
8. Friendly people
9. Talking to my sister
10. Waking up early in the morning and going out to a field.
11. Sight-seeing
12. History
13. Getting personalized mail.
14. Chocolate chip ice-cream & Cheeseburgers <3

Let's see...some things that make my day:

1. E-mails from very close friends
2. Letters from my pen pal
3. Sunshine! I love late spring/early summer mornings particularly
4. Messages from the Lord- be it in the form of a verse in the Bible, a song to which I just "happen" to listen, or an encouraging and uplifting note/letter/e-mail from a friend
5. My family!
6. The folks here on NarniaWeb
7. Being able to read

Hmmm, I am sure there are much more things that make my day, but I'll just post those for now.

There are so many things to brighten up one's day! *sigh* To sum up a few, here would be my list:

1. A hug or friendly smile
2. Receiving a handwritten letter in the mail
3. Sunshine
4. A bright, cheery flower
5. Completing an art project and having it turn out "just right"
6. Spending good, quality time with friends
7. Music that makes me cry
8. My cat
9. Crisp, refreshing mornings with the "spring is in the air" feeling
10. Inspiring movies/books/music
11. No homework
12. Finishing a difficult violin piece, and having it sound amazing!
13. Compliments

Those are simply a few.

I had the most AWESOME (not yelling- sorry mods) bird watching day today!
I saw a new species for starters, that's always good, but I used a green blanket as a bird blind and sat out by a bird feeder. It was great, they came within inches of me from all sides. Totally made my day today, probably the entire weekend ... Now, if I can just get a camera or camcorder...

19. Getting a letter from the Compassion child my family sponsors
20. Getting a mission trip newsletter!!!

22. The phone ringing and one of my little sibs beating me to it and then saying, "Here, it's for you."

-getting a good grade on a test or paper
-scoring a goal in hockey, when the goalie is my unce

-Overhearing coworkers swearing when they think no one can hear them

there's an internet radio station called Pandora and I have an account on it and it really makes my day when I get Skillet songs on my stations!

Wow the name Pandora is really taking over. Yeah I know what radio station you are talking about on the internet. My friend introduced it to me and I loves it.
